The Zellwood Community Center is dedicated to serving our community by providing a valuable service. Our members enjoy all the perks of our organization. Our organization has been widely-recognized as the best of its kind. Our membership is growing at a steady pace. WHAT IS THE ZELLWOOD COMMUNITY CENTER?
It is what it started out to be in 1946, different things to different people. Basically, it is a community improvement center dedicated to furthering social and recreational opportunities for Zellwoodians.
To the very young, it is a playground with swings, see-saw, merry-go-round and bridge. To the teenagers and young adults it is a softball field, basketball court and tennis court. To the families with young children, it is all of the above and more.
It is a meeting place for old friends to get together and a place to make new friends.
It is a meeting hall for gathering information. It is a reception hall for weddings, showers and anniversaries and a home to scouts and other non-profit groups.
It is much more than three and a half downtown acres and the building and equipment. It is living proof of what caring people, families and local businesses can accomplish to improve our little corner of the world. It is love.......of family, friends and children.
ZCC depends on Zellwood volunteers, fund raisers and support from local businesses. We receive no funds from any level of government.
