The Zellwood Historical Society maintains a history museum in the north wing of the Zellwood Community Center. This museum’s scope is limited to the history of Zellwood, and we are bulging at the seams at that!
Our mission is to share information about Zellwood’s past with all who are interested.
‘Though our hours are few, as more people volunteer and docents are trained we can expand the hours. At present we routinely open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. and on Sundays from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. We will do our best to open at additional times to meet your requests. It would please us to have a call when your special company visits, etc. We will let you know whether we can arrange for the museum to be open when it is convenient for you. You may call (352) 406-8236.
The Zellwood Historical Society’s Museum and Library are located at 3061 Union Street. We are immediately south of the Zellwood United Methodist’s Church Fellowship Hall. You’ll see the red wagon wheels out front.
